Teaching

My pedagogical philosophy centers on creating a constructive learning environment with three practical emphases: learning intervention, learning skills, and research connection. I prioritize learning intervention because advising and tutoring are pivotal to providing students from diverse backgrounds with meaningful and intimate learning skills. I also pay attention to these skills because they are the centerpieces of students’ problem-solving and conceptual development capacities. Meanwhile, I underscore research connections for reinforcing and expanding my teaching due to firsthand research experience and established industry ties. Reflecting on my own teaching skills and the teaching tenets behind them, I remain committed to a systematic approach that shapes students into capable and creative individuals.
